I'm Bishop Switzer, the founder of Above and Beyond Detailing. The original idea for this business came from a class project where we were tasked with creating our own business in business class. From a young age, I've had a passion for keeping things clean and tidy. When I bought my first car at 16, it was only natural for me to want to keep it looking its best.

Initially, I would visit a car wash about twice a month to give my car that fresh, new appearance. However, I quickly realized that the interior was never thoroughly cleaned, and the business model seemed focused on quantity over quality. Moreover, despite the glossy finish initially, I began to notice an increase in scratches and swirls on my car's paint over time.

Determined to understand the cause, I delved into research and discovered a stark truth: traditional car washes often neglect crucial steps like pre-washing and lack the meticulous care needed to protect a vehicle's paint. The result? Those seemingly harmless towels and soaps could actually be causing damage by pushing abrasive dirt particles into the paint, leading to unsightly scratches and swirls.

Armed with this knowledge, I made a conscious decision to break away from traditional car washes and took matters into my own hands. I immersed myself in learning the art of car detailing, investing in quality products and honing my techniques. Soon, friends began to take notice of the meticulous care I put into my own vehicle and asked me to work my magic on theirs.

What started as a simple favor for friends quickly evolved into a thriving business opportunity. With the growing demand for my services, I saw an opportunity to establish Above and Beyond Auto Detailing—a place where quality and attention to detail reign supreme.
